Emily Procter

 American actress Emily Mallory Procter was born October 8, 1968. She played Ainsley Hayes, a character in The West Wing's political dramas (2000-2002 in 2006, 2000, and 2006). Calleigh Duquesne, CBS's police procedural drama CSI: Miami 2002-2012



 



 Childhood and early life



 Procter was born on 8 October in 1968. She was adopted at the age of a baby by William Procter, a general practitioner, and Barbara Jones, a volunteer worker. She was raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was only three years old when her parents divorced. Whit, her older brother, is adopted.



 



 Procter attended Ravenscroft School in Raleigh. While at East Carolina University, Procter joined the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Procter was employed as a television anchor for news at WNCT in Greenville, North Carolina. Procter eventually earned degrees in journalism dance.
